I read this book in preparation for a recent vacation to Shropshire. Not much to say here- the book is exactly what it advertised itself to be: a nice little introduction to and reference material for all things Shropshire. I admit there were entire sections that I completely skimmed or even skipped over (as much as I love castles, a list of several dozen castles is not exactly riveting reading material.) But I certainly paid particular close attention to all of the listed locations that I planned to visit. And I particularly loved some of the legends and stories about people and ghooOOoooosts! Excellent little book. And, incidentally, an excellent little county! Definitely worth a visit!
