I passed a For Sale sign today where the realtor’s name was Jim Crow.
#1: If you are a soon-to-be parent with the last name Crow, for the love of God, do NOT name your kid Jim or James!
#2: If your are the unfortunate individual whose parents named them Jim Crow, why, why, WHY would you actually go by Jim instead James, and then even more bafflingly, why advertise your real estate business with that name? Are you trying to corner the old-timey blatantly racist demographic? Imply that you only sell in segregated neighborhoods? Or could you really just have no clue that your name is so terrible? 😦
