Please feel free to steal this idea: If I were a student whose school is planning to open up for in-person learning and is NOT stringently enforcing a mandatory mask policy, I would organize a dress-code-based protest. I would find my school’s dress code and make sure all of my friends (we’ll pretend I’m a popular teenager- use your imagination!) violate every rule as drastically as possible. Tube tops. No shoes. Booty shorts. Hats (maybe top hats?). Obscene images. Vulgarity.The works.
If you can require me to wear shoes and sleeves, you can require me to wear a mask.
