Helga without the H

So I don’t really like or follow American football, but I DO still wind up knowing to some degree what’s going on with the Redskins by living in the DC area and being stuck listening to it against my will at every turn. So here’s my prediction for this season, put into writing so I can later say “I told you so”: WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL. The reason I think this is that at the start of every single season, everyone around me is inexplicably optimistic for the season, …and they maybe look okay for the first couple games, and then everything falls apart and everyone seems confused and angry and wonders what happened. But this is THE FIRST TIME EVER that I have not heard a single person seem even remotely excited for the season, and every single report is just negative as crap. Which means DC is due for a big win. And so it was written, and so it shall come to pass (into the endzone, har har har).
